          Is it a fridge magnet?

It looks like a German "Grippemtite' tool, often used for bicycle construction. Rarely used these days but can be handy when you want one!

Could it be a bicycle seat angle gauge or perhaps a spokeometer?

Looks like a lathe cutter to hold carbide inserts. The knurled screw at the end could be used to adjust the amount that the tool holder protrudes, possibly used for boring holes.

Ah Haa, this could be one of the million and one reasons Raleigh closed up shop in Nottingham. On the other hand it could be a million and one other things like a spoke tensioner??

On reflection I think Fizzy is closer than I.

I think it's one of three of these that make up the screwing head of a spoke threading tool, Cyclo or something similar.

I thought spoke ends were rolled rather than cut?

I think Ian is suggesting that the thread on the left is one of the three heads from a rolling machine but looks a bit big to me, it would help to know the sizes

I wonder if its some form of preset tool holder. Cutting tip goes under the clamp and is held by the button head screw much like todays insert tooling. Part on the left is set to give a fixed length so when tooling is changed an some form of capstan/repetition machine its the same length and the large thread at the end goes into the tooling much like a screw thread on a milling cutter goes into an autolock.

It looks like a tool holder for a large boring bar to me.
