You seem to have decided on a mechanical lubricator. There is another alternative – a displacement lubricator. The picture shows one fitted to a Pansy cab – the output remains to be connected at the top and down through the hole next to the boiler. The expansion tank fits neatly under the floor between the back axle and the brake operating shaft.
Although this offering does not look prototypical, this type of lubricator is prototypical to the 57XX.

All included in the best possible taste – it is probably not viable to change course now.
