SC4 Gear Set Wanted

Hi, Does anybody have a gear set for an SC4 lathe they’d like to sell  ?  Or point me to where I can get one ?   I’m in Manchester, UK.

Although Arc Euro are no longer are in business, no doubt you will find that Axminster  or naybe Chester sell the SC4, so may be able to supply.

Alternatively, if you know the dimensions and Module number of the gears (possibly 1 or 1.25 Module); you might fond another lathe uses gears that are dimensionally the same (Warco, Sealey, or if you are in USA, possibly Grizzly. If antipodean, there may be an importer of a lathe using similar gears)

It would be useful to establish early on whether it is an imperial or metric machine.

If it is metric, the gearset supplied for a US imperial version will not provide a full solution.

Perhaps research what gears were supplied with each machine version and identify common ones.

Google indicates that Amadeal can also supply them. But Google is often wrong. Or why not just contact Sieg.

I’m not sure of Axminster deal with SIEG since they started up again. They do not list any Mills and only list the SC4 as OS not the others they used to do.
