I just wanted to share this! I needed a d-ream for a small on-off steam tap today and realised I had no silver steel. I made one out of ms and to my suprise it cut through the brass without going blunt. Thats all folks….

I often use a tool makers reamer of mild steel on brass, aluminium or plastic, seems ok if you only have one or two holes to ream. I have at times used Kasnit to give it a bit of hardness.
