Well it’s more sensitive than precise I would say. I used a standard M6 thread for both the raise and lower screws, if I’d thought about a bit more I could have used a much finer pitch to make it easier, so I have to be careful just turning very small increments on it. In my defence I didn’t know how much force I would need to operate the flexure in both directions, and I thought that an M6 would be a better bet here than a smaller thread.
I can however set it up on the surface plate first though, and then make very minor adjustments on the grinder.
