Whats your favourite milling fixture?

I just wondered what your favourite milling fixture/holding device is? Perhaps you have a straight forward milling vice almost permanently mounted to the centre/one side of your table. Or maybe you have an angle plate, or a fixture of some sort – or maybe you just have a set of basic clamps/angles to go with your standard sort of 50pcs table clamp set.

So, what do you have, where do you have it (permanently/temporary?)

I currently have a plain old 5" Abwood swivel, bang in the center. I'm thinking of removing the swivel base (never used it) and moving it to one side but my table is worn in the center so it gets a little stiff at the edges which would get annoying.

I guess this applies to horizontal and vertical, and grinders – I'm not picky =)

Pictures speak a thousand words so if you've anything to show off that needs describing, pictures would be great!

I have an inexpensive but well made 4" vice that sits in the middle of the table on my VMC. The best thing I did to it was accurately turn a couple of sleeves that are press fitted into the mounting holes. The sleeves slip into the tee slots in the table snugly so if I remove the vice and put it back its within about .001" parallel with the table. If I'm fussy a DTI and a light tap with a hammer gets it spot on. It's saved a lot of time. I can still get 10mm mounting bolts through the sleeves. Here's a pic.

I do such a variation of motorcycle work that nothing stays on the table for long. Vice/rotary table/angle plate can all go on two or more times a day.

The thing I really need is a second Bridgeport to save all the setting up.
