For anyone wishing to have the benefits of the Excel worksheet but doesn’t have or unwilling to use Microsoft Office, I can thoroughly recommend the free and open source Libre Office (https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/libreoffice/).

It appears that this new forum has the ability to use ‘sticky’ threads.

This MEW sub-forum in which this post resides has four such, three of which have not had contributions for over three years.

Maybe it is time for some housekeeping and for this regular MEW index thread to be made a sticky.

Ideally, if possible, it should be made to display posts in reverse date order, so the most recent is the top of the thread.

This is the sort of task we are slowly working through, but the suggestion is a good one, so I will make this thread ‘Sticky’ and rename it as ‘Latest MEW Index’.

Barry Chamberlain’s last paper index will appear in issue 334, I’d like to thank him for his sterling work over the whole life of MEW.

David Frith will be taking on the task alongside his electronic versions (which in themselves are updates of Barry’s original electronic index), so many thanks to him as well.

Sorry you were having problems Michael. I’ve no idea why that would occur. If anyone can’t download from the shared Google drive, I’d be happy to attach the relevant file in this thread. I’m not sure though, if there’s a file size limit. The pdf weighs in at around 8Mb these days.
