I have quite a nice Victoria universal dividing head that I have had for a little while. Its the smaller one and came with tailstock and extra dividing plate. It also has a Victoria 3 jaw chuck, its 4-1/4" diameter chuck .

As I have other options for dividing and simple indexing, i have not had cause to use it for now. The victoria DH did not come with any outside jaws for the Victoria chuck. I can envisage a time where I will need to use it but need different jaws.

Any ideas where I could find some jaws for it, or what may be compatible?

I suspect outside jaws for a Victoria chuck on a dividing head with be hard to come by. I've seen maybe 3 or 4 and none had the outside jaws. Odds are a Victoria branded chuck is actually a re-badged one from elsewhere in the Elliott empire. But which one.

I'm pretty sure that the chuck was an optional extra on Victoria heads too. The literature I have says a chuck wasn't standard equipment on the heavy duty and precision versions.

No realistic chance unless it is a Burnerd in which case it is cheaper for a hobbyist to buy a new chuck. However as they will have little use you can consider making them and not needing to use hard or hardenable material to make it easier, then treat them as soft jaws for the one off job you are doing.

I have several one set only chucks. Then one keeps seeing lonely jaws on ebay from garage traders who don't know they are made matched to their chuck. Often they don't even give dimensions and maybe think the serial no on them is a part number making them universal.

              thanks,

looks like I will either need to make some or maybe fit one of my other spare chucks.
