Just watching “24 hours in A&E” that was recorded on the BBC on Tuesday night.
A 74 year old retired engineer was badly burnt when his workshop (shed) exploded.
From the pictures there was a mill and a couple of motorbikes in the shed. According to the owner it also had propane and RC aircraft. He said there were LiPo batteries on charge that likely caused the fire. He’s awake and talking but in serious condition. Haven’t seen the outcome yet.
Edit. 5 weeks in hospital but full recovery with a lot of skin grafts. Don’t watch if you are squeamish
Be careful out there.
Robert.
