Supplier of small hose

Hi,

Recently purchased a used Simplex loco, only to find rubber hose has been used to connect the side tank outlets to the axle driven feed pump.

Does anyone know where I can buy hose that will slide on 5/16" copper tube with about 1/8" wall thickness?

B & Q sell clear plastic hose that should fit.. 6mm id warmed up should fit.. also sells coloured if you need it to match

Thanks, walked round my local B & Q 2 or 3 times yesterday, couldn't find any plastic tube.

You might try Halfords for windscreen washer tube.

Try near where they keep the free length chains / security chains / hoses, that's where my local store has it… tends to be down on floor level… or…

Hi Les,
Last year I bought some 6mm silicone rubber tube from this seller on ebay. This pushes over 8mm tube OK. the tube I bought was clear but he lists it in black as well.
