Source of milling cutters post Arceurotradw

Now that Arceurotrade has very sadly disappeared, is there an alternative source of reasonably priced carbide milling cutters?

As this site seems to now have adverts for Aliexpress then I can’t see why I should not mention the Xuhan brand ones I have been buying via them. They have gone up from the £2 I was paying for a 6mm cutter a couple of years ago to about £5 now but still a reasonable buy for general use coated for steel and uncoated non ferrous cutters.

APT  have always been cheaper than ARC on the small sub 6mm sizes so I use them too plus they do 3-flute that Xuhan don’t do many of. Between the two it’s hard to see a difference in performance and tool life. They

APT give good service as well as good products. The only cutter I had problems with (large 16mm) was instantly replaced with next day delivery. Can’t recommend higher than that.

APT also sell carbide tips in two’s to save you having to buy a standard box of ten. Look under “carbide tips for hobby use”, second item down in the left hand menu. Of course they are slightly more expensive per tip but only by a couple of pennies.

There’s also an abundance of new old stock cutters on ebay, many of which are very high quality from the very top brands. You’ll likely pay a little bit more, but they will likely last longer.

I have had some good quality carbide endmills ftom Temu. Very good quality and reasonable price.
