Hello all,
first let me introduce myself, i am Brian and i am from the Netherlands.
I am working as volunteer at the Dutch Steam Engine Museum in Medemblik,Holland.
i am learning how to stoke the main boliler so that the museum can run it's engines for the public and also i am rebuilding the steam models which are in the museum.
I have rebuild the Allchin ' Royal Chester' 1.5 scale model and it is almost working on steam again and now am working on the Clayton undertype steamwagon.
In the museum there is a model of the Harry Lee's steam yachts and it is badly damaged ,all the paint and decorations are gone and i want to rebuild and repaint it so that it will show and work again like it used to do.
But in my search for photos i only found a few and not up close shots so i can try to recreate the decorations.
And i can't find much history of this great machine, i found a little bit of history what it represents ( the great America's Cup between the Shamrock and Columbia) but i want to show more to the public.
So is there anyone who could help me in finding photos or history so i can do this the right way?
Or maybe have a mailadress or site where i can find this?
If you want to see what i've done sofar please let me invite you to my own site and take a look (sorry, the site is in dutch but you still can see what i've done sofar)

It would be more than welcome if you could help me.
Yours Faithfully,
