I have some building work in progress, and will ultimately need a good [i.e. reasonably weather-proof & secure] box to mount on an outside wall

… any recommended suppliers of such, please ?

British Ironworks Centre in Shrewsbury . They have a good range of free standing plus built in post boxes . I am not computer literate and so found their web site slow to navigate . I bought a fire guard from them some time ago and am very pleased with it . Other than this , no connection to company.

To be fair, their web site does seem a tad unpredictable.

Bit off topic I’m afraid, but mention of the British Iron Works has brought back memories of my visit to their Sculpture Park just outside Oswestry. This is where the “Knife Angel” was made. The sculptures in their park are well worth a visit if you are in the area. You may have to book at busy times. Check out their website for pictures of some of their sculptures.
