Plane Crash in North Wales

If anyone has seen the news this evening, it seems likely that the two people who lost their lives in the plane crash in Gwynedd four days ago were a well-known person in the model engineering trade community and his wife. Their names and ages are correct and he flies light aircraft.

I have tried to contact him without success so I fear the worst, but I’d be grateful if anyone able to confirm what the situation is, I’d appreciate it.
