      I recently acquired two sticks

      46 GF 106H  and 240 GF

which I presume to be for cleaning the specialist Manhattan wheels

      Who we are

Can one of our grinding/polishing experts please advise how more-generally-useful these might be ?

I suspect, with no direct proof, that rather than dressing sticks, these are abrasives as used in the wheels, but in stick form for hand use.
46 GF106H might be 46 grit GF106 bond to match the wheel, rather than to dress it, not sure about the H

Maybe similar to a more precise version of Garryflex blocks

For cleaning/dressing rubber bond diamond wheels, I use the very soft white sticks from Axminster, as opposed to hard Devil or Norbide sticks.

          Thanks, Bill

I was certainly intending to simply use them as an equivalent to Garryflex, for general cleaning and polishing  … but I was surprised to find no reference to them on the Manhattan website.

My curiosity was aroused, and this forum is often a good place to ask.

They certainly don’t come cheap, this is a 180 GF106H

You’ve made my day, Bill !

Never thought of looking at Bergeon.

Instinct told me that £3 each was very reasonable, but I wasn’t ‘t expecting to see that price.
