Well, the classifieds here, or the other model engineering sites? But I would have thought that eay would have the largest reach especially if you post a note here?

Ebay, list it for the price you want & no 'offers'

I think ebay is probably your best bet as well, if someone else can sell them for a lot more, then so can you.

At the end of the day something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, so you have to be realistic with your expectations.

Just set your starting price and see what happens, you can always re-list them for a bit less if they dont sell first time around. The only downside is the fees you end up paying to ebay.

My sister has had some success selling unwanted items on Facebook Marketplace, but I have not tried it myself.

Depends on the price, if the price is right it doesn't sit about for long wherever you advertise it

I think it might have helped if you had put a photo of each one not everybody would know what the castings numbers or what they are for.I looked at them but did not have time to wade through stewarts site to find out what was what.

You could try homeworkshop.org.uk now run by Adam since the demise of John S.

Just put them on ebay, ignore that nonsense, I was selling a Jones and Shipman arbor press on there a while back, some joker msg'd me saying I should sell it to him cheaper because they're old and not really useful any more, you'll always get idiots like that.

Classified ads in the magazines (MEW/ME) seem to work well.

                              Free too.

Don't forget, ebay do 'sell for a pound' or 'no seller fees' offers every two or three weeks. I use these offers to sell and it's saved me many hundreds of pounds over the last couple of years. You do need to click on the link on either the front page or in the email they send you and list the item on the dates specified, but they're the only conditions.
