Hi all and those remotely interested!

I am in the final stages of designing the steel boiler for my 71/4 Invicta. Although this is a bigger gauge loco the boiler is still only 6" diameter and so may be of interest to those building a 5" loco. It is also a rather short boiler! I have the materials with certs and am at final approval stage of the design. For those interested I intend on updating this thread as a build diary. i learned alot on the last build and although this one will cost the same (under £300) it should be far superior as a steamer. Many thanks to JB for the use of his many formulae whilst optimising design paameters. Pictures, comments and nodoubt criticism aplenty to follow!
