Just a reminder for safety in the workshop in the New Year.
Don't forget to check that your fire extinguisher is in the green on its' gauge. If you don't have one, get one.
A phone you can call out on in a medical emergency is a good idea in the workshop. You can turn off the ringer so you are not interrupted, but still dial out if need be.
A small first aid kit with disinfectant, band-aids, a large dressing pad, and long bandage gauze and tape, at a minimum is a handy thing.
Safety eyewear is a must for many ops in the workshop. You can get them with bifocal magnifiers now too!
A smoke alarm in the workshop, connected to the house smoke alarm system, is a good thing to have.
A leak test with a brush and soapy water on all propane tank fittings and hose connections is a good idea yearly.
Clean dust off electric heater housings and elements to reduce fire hazard.
Good luck, JD
