Surplus to requirements due to the CNC conversion I have

Table vertical screw, nut and nut housing. Condition seems to be very good.

Y-axis screw, nut, handwheel, bracket and micrometer dial. (everything except the thrust bearings). Condition seems to be excellent, very low backlash.

X-screw and nut, handle and micrometer dial. The nut is in the rotating housing for spiral milling. More wear than Z or Y, but still very usable.

The Feed motor/gearbox and a set of pick-off gears. Also the control box. I can probably find the limit switch housing too.

Hi there:

I am interested in two things! First and foremost, I think the CNC retrofit you did on your machine is awsome and it has inspired me to do the same, albeit I don't have the experience and skill you do. Gotta try though! So I have 2 broken harrison mills, where they both tipped and broke the x axis handle and deformed the corresponding nut, and the second machine the x leadscrew was sheared off with all corresponding components (parts lost by former owner). Thus far I have a replacement x lead screw and nut, but am lacking some components that it looks like you have due to CNC conversion. I am wondering if I can buy a subset of your parts (shipping weight is a big concern as I am in Canada), and I am also very interested in the plans you made to convert the machine to CNC. My plan is to CNC one machine and run the other in manual until the conversion is complete. I am a Hobbyist so time is on my side, and I plan for this to be a big long term learning project. Having noticed that I had private messages, it looks like I may have takers for the feed motor and the X screw, so the Y screw is the only spare part anyway.

I am happy to ship the parts to you at cost, though that might be quite a high cost.

I forgot to say:

I don't have much in the way of drawings of the CNC conversion, I mainly work direct from 3D models. You are more than welcome to the 3D models, just say what format you can use.

If I was doing it again I might consider putting the X nut and bearings below the surface of the base, rather than exactly where the original nut was with a drive tube. Though then it might be hard to get enough travel (on the plus side it leaves more room for the telescopic screw cover).

If you haven't seen the pictures, here they are but I suspect you probably backed-up from the spare parts pictures already?
