WM250 Owners – Question about 4 Jaw Chuck

This may be a stupid question, but, do I need to lightly face the Backplate attached to the 4 Jaw Independent Chuck that I received with my WM250 for better accuracy?

No, unless you have clocked it against the face and can see considerable runout then no.
