New member (Introduction)

Good afternoon,

I am a new member to the site and wanted to introduce myself. I am a machining enthusiast and have been for many years. For the last 10 years i have been machining using various manual and CNC machines. I recently made a purchase on a small desktop Champion CNC machine along with a Colchester student lathe/Tom Senior mill, These two machines will be my first to projects which i am looking forward to restoring and putting into use to hopefully help with making my first model engine. I am currently seeking replacement parts for both machines but when they have been sourced i would like to start a thread showing the restoration projects and listen to any advice or guidance with this project.

Thank you for your reply and advice, I have updated my profile with location. I am currently in the process of moving back to Hampshire/Isle of Wight to get a small workshop to start my restoration and model making.

There's a bit of a difference between Hampshire and the Isle of Wight better known as the Solent. If it is the latter then there is **LINK** if you are interested.

Certainly am. I am hoping to find a property back there next month.Having lived there for 22 years have met and worked with some great guys and share the same interest and hope to make it a open shop for friends to restore and create new projects.
