Those are very good, very versatile machines – I assume this has power cross as well as long feeds, capable of left and right-hand screw-cutting (the L-N-R control is that resembling a water-tap handle).
It seems to have some spare holes in the apron though, so I might be wrong about the cross-feed.
The saddle forms a usefully-big boring-table. Though it looks as if the lead-screw does all the work on this variant, as on a Myford.
I don’t know if the adjustable saddle-stop is original but if not, it is certainly consistent with the machine generally.
If there is not an Ehrlich section on lathes.co, look under IXL.
I owned a similar one, ‘IXL’-badged, for some years and made some large parts on it. Unfortunately I had eventually to replace it with smaller machines, and ended up donating it to Lynton & Barnstaple Railway’s workshop.
I wish I still had it but at least its replacements together cover most of what I am likely to need.
So someone please give it a good home.
