Some while ago I had a small program, free cut down version of a more complex program that allowed you to put in a cut list and then tell it how many bars and at what length and it optimised the cuts.

Problem is can't remember the name and a Google search just gets me to either disabled versions for use or paid for versions.

So knowing what a tight fisted lot Model Engineers are, wink, though I'd ask n here smiley

              You could try this: **LINK**

At first glance not very intuitive (see edit button bottom RH corner) but haven't read the help file.

Input limits for free program Free

                  Found one.

                  **LINK**

It's on line browser based but no restriction that I have found and gave it 5 different items spread over 17 bars of material.

Good thing is it works on my phone as well

Must be easy to use as i managed it without watching the video or looking at help.
