      @olafkundrus1

      Is the lathe bed from a 1967 super 7 interchangeable with a 1975 ML 7?

      Thanks

          Assume you are in Scandinavia somewhere?

          Have a look at https://www.lathes.co.uk/. Scroll down to the “lathes” list and click on Myford for all sorts of history lessons. In 1973 the S7 bed was modified from machine K111727 to accomadate the power cross feed version which involved modifying the cross slide guides. This did not alter the bed dimensions but somehow altered the relationship between cross slide (clamp nut alignment) and lead screw. I cannot recall better detail.

          Assuming you know the checks you need to do for wear, don’t buy unseen or checked out somehow.
