It looks an excellent device; as one would expect from Jim Arnfield.

Unfortunately, the price of the specified Tungsten Carbide wheel might come as a shock.

The difference, of course, being that the classic File/Burnisher is a hand tool … requiring great skill to produce precise [as distinct from shiny] work.

Jim's preview article shows the attachment being used on a Boley F1, and also on a Schaublin 70; and he mentions that it should suit the Myford ML7, etc. … so it looks pretty versatile.

If you don't take the HJ, it's definitely worth seeing if your local Library has it.
