      Hi ,I have posted on here once before ,and i am a long term reader of of the thread pages , all very interesting to anyone who likes repairing stuff, making things ,or just keeping out of mischief .My question is can someone tell me where I can buy a step pulley . I have one, purchased sometime since , and managed to bore it out of true . I cant remember were it came from , and would like to try again ,and hopefully make a better job of it Thanks to anyone who can help Stewart

            Can you bore it out a little larger and then glue a bush inside? Quicker and cheaper.

              Why not try and recover it?

              Mount it in the lathe, bore out then sleeve it…bore out the new centre to desired diameter

              Even if you do decide to buy another, worth the effort for experience…..

                Obviously only any good if you are happy about aluminium.

                I recently bought pulleys from Robert. They arrived modified exactly to my request, and for a very reasonable sum.

                He's really good if you need custom bores and key-slots broached.
