I was quite intrigued to come across this website http://www.boggstool.com/
Prior to reading their technical explanations, I had been under the impression that the only way to sharpen files was by dipping them in acid ( with variable results).
I am aware that for bog standard metal files designed for filing steel, it may well not be economical to have them sharpened, but for owners of high end rasps made for carving, I can see the attraction.
My question is, is there any firm in the UK who offers a similar service … or do Boggs have the world wide monopoly ?
