As a flash steam enthusiast and involvement with full size speed machines over many years have found the ME Forum very helpful.

Another of my many forums the Straightliners are the same its friendly banter and how I am looked after at their speed events is fantastic.

I will be at their Melbourne Drag Racing at the weekend then Monday at Elvington Top Speed Testing Guy Martin normally there on a proposed 300mph motorcycle.

Despite health issues my enthusiasm is always there.

Thaks for that Windy I've checked out his feed and it seems that the bike is fundamentally the same apart from new bodywork and front brake calipers. It's quite gratifying that the old girl is still going strong 14 years after I built it in my garden shed. I've seen more than a few 'bought' turbo bikes blow up or melt down over the years but mine just keeps going.

                        238mph – impressive.
