So I noticed during my browsing a well known and respected online store of machinery has labeled some quite expensive chucks which I would imagine to be worth ~£200 as £0.

If I were to buy this chuck, for £0, would they be legally required to sell it to me for the stated price? Or can they rightly say whoops we messed up and give a refund (in this case of £0)

Any "well known and respected online store of machinery" should have its Terms & Conditions viewable on the website … and those should include a suitably worded get-out clause.

Share the name and I will happily try to find the words for you.

It's an 'invitation to buy' no one has to sell for the price as shown, however goodwill etc etc.

Being pedantic, it's an 'invitation to treat' smiley
