Myford M type belt replacement?

I need to replace the drive belt on my M type. What is the best procedure? I presume that the spindle will need to be removed, along with the pulleys?

I'm not familiar with the Myford M type but, if it has a V belt drive, I recommend that you use a link belt. This will obviate the need for any dismantling and is a very quick process.
