      Just got my graphite yarn from a supplier of dark coloured access restrictors, only to discover the graphite yarn is now blue string yarn. I emailed them and they say that this has now replaced the old black and dirty graphite yarn. Given that true graphite is blue/grey this might not be such a suprise to some, but it was to me!

          I have heard of a few people using the drier graphite yarn and it does not last well. You should be able to get the greasy grey type such as Pilotsil 8110 from somewhere like heritage steam rather than te dry pilotpack 410

            I got my last lot from Polymodels link page 50, but of late I have been using PTFE tape twisted into a cord personally I find it better smiley
