Yes, they are good, I have a set by that maker in Size 2 (90mmx60mmx60mm) complete with storage box bought from a rummage sale for very little beer tokens.

Nice idea for the flat clamp plate, – job for the weekend smiley

I "acquired" one of these blocks many years ago,it is the same as Graemes, though it did come with both sizes of clamp.I have never seen the clamping plate but it would be a good idea to make one,my block is 4ins x 3 ins x 3ins the two through holes allow the block to be clamped to a faceplate converting the block to a simple Keats vee block.

I doubt that it is commission – although I do recall, from the distant past, some discussion about a debt ( I think it was £3 ?) that he owes to Ketan………disgust

                      LIES, all LIES.

It's Ketan that owes me £4.00 for the chips.

And don't forget Steven at Ausee Machine tools in OZ who also owes me two pounds.

It's no wonder I have to keep on working well after retirement age .

£59.50 in 1981 would have been a fair sum. I reckon that was about 1/2 a weeks wages at the time ?
