A contributor has mentioned the HSM Bulletin Boards in his article.

Now I assume (hope?) he doesn't mean a place for discussing High School Musical. Can anyone point me at the right place?

Yes I know GIYF but would YOU want to wade through endless pages of Disney's Finest to find one engineering site…? I had more than enough of that when my daughter was about 8.

You can not be serious! (yes words chosen to echo the tennis in the news at present)

I know you are flying the flag for MTM but surely you have at some time done the occasional search that has thrown up the name before? What's more I have on more than one occasion mentioned and linked to relevant information on that forum so now I am offended that you haven't read all my posts frown I understand that a famous titled 'pier of the realm' even sometimes posts on it!

So now, to further your education, please sit down, pour a stiff drink and prepare yourself. There is rumoured to be a magazine published in Australia that covers the topic of model engineering!!!!! surprise

(keep your hat on – spelling above deliberate )

What a major disappointment; there was me thinking the modelling world might be waking up to the advantages of high speed machining and we might be getting an article on it. sad

One of the best, if not the best, forums for, er, home shop machinists…

Pinned topic at the top of "shop made tools" in excess of 200 pages,a very good read, with some great ideas and workmanship.

Sir John often posts duplicate stuff from here on there, or vise versa…

                    LOL!

I have a small pile of Home Shop Machinist right here!

One of the perils of working on into the evening…
