Help required to identify parts

Hi I have inherited some steam engine parts from my late father who was an engineer. I am unsure what is what I do know the 4 wheels are from a Clayton undertype engine as they are stamped but I am unsure what the two other aluminium rings are for or even if they are for a Clayton. The other parts I think are a mix of Clayton and a Stuart model Victoria but I don't know which is which. The boiler I have no idea what that is from. Any help would be appreciated as I have loads of items tools, plans, books etc but limited storage and these need to go to someone who knows what they are. Thanks in advance

The other two aluminium part in the last photo are a front wheel for a traction engine, most likely "Minnie" and a rear wheel for the same.

Second photo looks to have the front & rear wheel hubs on the right hand side.

Third photo top right looks to be a diff centre from another traction engine.

I can see in the second photo there is casting for the two forked ends of the Clayton front axle.

In the third photo is the outer pedestal casting (I need one of those by the way) and flywheel and probably the base and cylinder for a Stuart Victoria engine, and also there are the two rear axle bearings for the Clayton, the dif centre is either for the Allchin Royal Chester or the Clayton, they both used the same dif.

As already stated, the Y spoked wheels are also for the Clayton, I am guessing the boiler might be as well.

Hi thanks Jason that would tie in with having plans for the Minnie engine I am unsure as to what my dad was actually building with having plans for many engines and random parts for what seems to be unfinished projects. I do know he was good at what he did but got quickly bored with a project and moved to something different without finishing the first project. He had 4 lathes and hundereds of tools, literature and boxes full of Model engineering publications which I have no clue as to what they are hence the storage problems. He even had an origional 3 wheel Morgan in the garage for approx 40 years that eventually ended up in America. Any help with these items is much appreciated Thanks Ian

Hi phil I would quite happily sell you the part you need and I am not looking for a high price just a price that you would be happy to buy for I would prefer the parts to be sold to an enthusiast rather than a dealer hence why they are not on Ebay and on here I just want them to be used I love steam engines but unfortunatly I never learned my fathers trade and hobby so I do not have the skills to use these parts or tools. The last two pix are of wheels for a model of a Foden steam lorry made before Foden changed to internal combustion engines…..the pattern is unmistakeable.

I thought the Foden ones had 5 "Y" shaped spokes on the front and the clayton as per the pictures 6 "Y" spokes.

Typical Foden C type Wagon Wheel here 5 spokes on the fronts.

The pictured castings are also teh right size for a 2" Clayton when compared to the 6" Minnie wheels next to them. The Foden is made in 3" scale and the wheels are a lot larger – 9" rear and 7 5/8" fromts

I think I can also see the pulley casting for the Stuart Victoria and the extrusion for the eccentric strap. The sole plate is definitely for the Victoria. There is an end plate for the cylinder too. So by the time you add in the flywheel and cylinder, there is a fair amount of monies worth in VIctoria castings alone.
