DRO for ML7

Hi,

I have an ML7 lathe, is it possible to fit DRO and if so how many axis, 2? and what sizes would I need please?

Machine DRO have an ML7 fitted with a full readout system on display at most ME Exhibitions.

There is a link to their website on the right of this page, it is just above the box called Shopping Partners.

That might be a good starting point for you to took at.

The dro was described in MEW a few years ago. Perhaps Neil can change the sample MEW magazine to this one?

IIRC it used to be one of the "Article Reprints" here …. but I can't find it any more.

I purchased my 2 DRO systems from this company.

I had excellent service and the product is good.

My bad… the 'new' in the URL is a red herring.

Click 'workshop' on the black band near the top of the page, then select machines.

Scroll down to fine the article – and others.

I'd always assumed that people who used 'My bad' were…

a) teenagers too lazy to type the 4 extra characters needed for 'mistake'

b) teenagers who didn't know any better

c) Americans

or d) any combination of the above.
