Just exhausts

Hi tried my modwl on air today and all i get is the preassure straight up the chimney thru the exhaust ahen i olen the regulator i have checked the timing and o e side was slightly of so tht adjusted now per instructions for forward gear.

Reverse gear dosent match up with anything to be honest massive port openings so dnt quite understand how to sort that.

The valve blocks them selfs have a lot of clearance in terms of before they touch the block itself i know they have some free play before so the preasure seals them against the block.

But obv this is not happening and so i jus loosing all the preasure up the chimey.

Can anyone please help me with some susgestion as to what to try as im loosing all hope with it now.

hi mike,

i presume this follows on from your air test thread? it would help if you could add some pics please… as you state recent purchase it presumably cannot be the partly completed 'wagon' in your album, and so presumably something different?

Yh its a pride of penrhyn wagon and got it in september the valves had alot of play before thy got to the block between that and the valve nut. So im thinking instead of sealing they were or one was getting liffted of the face and exhausting the preasure straight up the chimney il get some pics up as soon as i can
