      finally found a countershaft to replace the damaged one on my super 7

      And inspecting the clutch parts before it all goes back together

      This is the push bar, a 1/2" ball bearing goes between this and the pushrod.

      Should it have this concave dent in it or is this wear from the bearing , the only reference i have is myford pics but they only show it from the other end !

      Dont want to put it back together if its not meant to be there, thinking of welding it up but it seems cast and then ground

            Mark,

            Push rod end is deliberately dimpled. Nothing wrong there.
