I recently acquired this second hand four jaw chuck, just wondering if anyone recognises the logo? The brand is not familiar to me at all…

Victoria – Believe it was part of the Elliot Machine Tool company if my fading memory is working correctly…..

May have originally supplied with a Victoria dividing head,or for a Cardiff /Elliott lathe.

Thanks Grum! Makes sense, when I searched for "ictor" as you'd imagine I couldn't find anything appropriate!

I can now visualise the logo with how the large V and A would have looked at the ends.

Their marketing department obviously didn't explain to them the benefits of a consitent logo – there must be at least six variations on that page, without including the one on the chuck here!

Of course, 'Victoria' was a pretty unusual name…
