Could any one please tell me if a ML7 R headstock will fit onto a standard ML7 bed or any super 7 headstock would fit, thank you.

The short answer is Yes, the bed is essentially the same for all versions

As long as the Super 7 is pre Aug 1972, when the wide bed was introduced for the power cross feed saddle.
