You know those little, blow-moulded plastic boxes that nice, new, expensive cutting tools arrive in? Yes, the square ones that 'ratchet' up and down for different lengths of tools?

Well I am sure there is a dark corner somewhere full of them in bright colours. But does anyone know where it is?

I am just trying to make sense of a small, but growing, collection of second-hand tools. And I can write the tool size on these, large enough to spare my glasses…

Last time I went to Chronos Engineering, they had a box full of them next to the till, with a "help yourself" sign on. No idea where you are, but other, more local to you, tool suppliers might have a similar arrangement?

You need to order a lot of nice , new , expensive tools. Give the tools to your freinds and you get to keep the boxes.

Well the price is certainly right! But sadly Dunstable's a bit far from Edinburgh. Besides, I can imagine visiting Chronos without Dr Who coming along…
