The Forncett Steam Museum has it’s final running day on Sunday 4 Oct, this is also their model engineers day. The weather is looking good for the outdoor exhibits and the road run. The collection is almost all in steam and working order from the small launch engines up to the massive Dover pumping engine, a triple expansion engine the size of a house. To find the place ? it is south of Norwich near Long Stratton on the A 140, there are signs.
The fun starts at 10am, I will be there with a 6″ vertical boiler in steam running a Stuart Models No 1. See you there ? Noel.
