I have the exploded parts diagram for the M4 series but cannot make out what is involved in getting to the activating gear bush which I suspect needs replacing – operating the Star Wheel is not quite as silky smooth/stable as I would like it and something in there is a little bit worn (in relation to my other MF4). I have already stripped the gearbox to replace a tufnol driven gear (shredded by some eager owner trying to change gear with the motor running) so I might as well get the activating gear working as it should. With the star wheel hub Nut removed, the hub does not want to pull out to the right. Does everything in fact pull out to the left (attached to the return spring box) ? I can of course explore that, but first I thought it would be very nice to hear some advice from anyone with some experience replacing this gear bush. Thanks in advance, Adam
