Provided it is an FB2 and not the earlier Mentor Mill, then spares for this machine should be available through Emco Stockists. Emco have a policy of keeping spares for their machines for 30 years. As I purchased one of the last FB2's in 1996, there should be about 8 years left.

If you do not know the spare part numbers, there are PDF's available on the manual, or Sears in the USA have, or did have an on-line parts catalogue for Emco machines.

Gasket material, unless required as shims, is not that difficult to sort out. Just don’t use compressible gaskets (eg cork) in inappropriate situations – and paper or card choice might depend on the finish of the surfaces and rigidity, when narrow sections are involved. Many gaskets were made, in situ, in days gone by. I have made umpteen gaskets for my vintage tractors/engines, as they were simply not available before the internet became a useful tool for such purchases.

Appropriately sized ball-pein hammers or ‘photocopy and puched holes’ are the usual methods I use, dependent on requirement.
