Getting one of these on a cabinet. Anyone got the weights? – preferably with the cabinet separated. I am going to take the tailstock off – and, may wind the carriage off as well, plus take the motor off. Hoping that will bring it down to 200kg – which is manageable for me. – its the long bed model – but if anyone has the standard bed weight – that would be good – there won't be too much difference.

Think they are about 400kg all up so you may not get it down to 200Kg

As Jason says, somewhere between 350 and 400kg, depending if yours is the 750mm b/c model, or 1,000mm.

And if you split the lathe and cabinet, be warned the lathe becomes incredibly top heavy, and if lifted will try and flip itself over.

I have had three X10 series Boxfords, currently a 330, and the way I move them is to keep them in one piece, and put them on four heavy duty castors.

I can push one around single handed on a concrete floor when it is on castors.

I know it’s a old thread but other members are maybe looking for this information. I agree with David. I took out the levelling bboltsout of the Feet & used castors that had a M12 bolt on & just put them in the levelling foot. I had to move my 330IS up a 4″ step in to my workshop I got it to the step with a pallet truck then remembered i had some 100mm castors, they are actually still on the lathe it makes it easy to move & with the brakes on it dosent move when using it,  I sold a TS10.20 to get this 330IS & the 330is is alot larger in all ways H/W/L and it weighed 390KG .The TS10.20 was easy to move in comparison even up the step on a pallet with a pallet truck,  I just put the forks in half way with 3Tonne skates on the other end but the 330IS was alot heavier & longer so would not go up, so I got the light (tailstock end up the step & put castors on the heavy end then jacked it up & pulled it in the door then put on the other 2 castors. I tryed this with a hardinge chucker on its base & @800kg it made it easy to move but you have to get castors that are over rated for your weight . I used 700kg castors for the Boxford & 1000kg one’s for the hardinge
