Hi all I am now back at home recovering after being in hospital and can’t wait to get on with the lathe.l am thinking of using a myford 65 tooth changewheel for the back gear as I have the other gears to go with it, your suggestions ideas would be most welcome.

Hello Carl,

I have one, new and good but a copy of the genuine Myford 65 T bull wheel. Making one from a change wheel will not be satisfactory as the bore needs to be 1 inch with a suitably sized boss to contain it, the change wheels don't have enough material thickness for that application.

I am asking £34 post paid to you. PM me if you are interested

Hello Carl,

You succeeded despite your pessimism. I have replied by return.

These wheels [ I have two] were the remains of a small batch I knocked up some while ago. I can't sent photos by this method, there is a compatibility problem with my server.
