As Jason says, just tidied up and screwed in tight. studlock or nutlock wouldn't do any harm.

I have nuts + washers on my Hobbymat chucks. Keep dropping a washer in the pile of swarf. Need long nose pliers to get them into position.

Make your nuts & washers magnetic, that should make stick close to home, if you don't like that idea, because of attracting swarf. Use grease.
