I saw part of the video earlier today but then had to go out. I have just tried to find the thread and the whole thing seems to have disappeared, why?

Person who posted the video links was actually selling the products shown, also rather a lack of PPE in the videos.

I suspect the thread was pulled because the poster was the seller of the kit concerned and neglected to mention it, this is after all a commercial site and adverts here cost money.

Googling on microwave metal casting will find all the details.

I know moderation is seldom explained anywhere but a placeholder stating the reason for withdrawal would be less puzzling for all.

I should hope so, there's enough PPE in parliament, we don't need more here.

In my limited experience I have found that moderators do often explain their actions.

By coincidence, only today I had a automated email from a classic car forum I subscribe to. The site owner has recently upgraded or changed the forum software and it seems that the subscribers will now get report of the moderators activity.

I must be naive though, I watched the video without noticing any commercial connotations!

From the initial videos there was no indication of commercial interest that is why the posters first moderated post was allowed through, it only became apparent that they were also selling the product by another members post.

It was stated on in the thread that moderators were looking into it prior to its removal and the original poster was informed of why the post was deleted.

Andrew, I had to look up the other meaning of PPE as I'm not the university type and now I see what you mean, hope to see you Saturday.

                    Hi There

I have the link to the videos if anyone wants them.

                    Email [email protected]

Although this may be a comercial product, it is available in the UK from at least one supplier and is a useful modern technique for the workshop.

I will be trying to get an article for MEW from the UK supplier.

                    regards david
