      Hi all,

Does anyone have a full set of drawings for the 2″ Ruston & Proctor SD they’d like to part with? (I’ve not had much luck getting a copy from Blackgates)

      Thanks

        Hi,

I don’t have the full size drawings but I do have a full copy of the original articles from ME in 1987 which include the drawings as printed.  You are welcome to these.  Let me know by a personal message if you would like me to pop them in the post to you.

Thank you Rod for the articles, plenty of detail to get started planning.

Hi, I hope you don’t mind me Joining into the conversation. I am currently building the 2” Ruston Proctor and I’m in a similar situation. I Do have the full set of drawings from Blackgates, but I am trying to source the magazine build series instructions. @pixel_porpoise would you be willing to scan the magazine article

            Thanks

            Alex

Moderator Edit. The Drawings are still under Copyright to Blackgates, so copying is not encouraged on the forum.

Magazines are currently available for 86/87 on ebay for about £10.

The drawings will be the same, with the same omissions like steering worm and gear details.

I bought a copy of drawings for the 2″ Ruston from Ray Hooley who used to work for Ruston and Hornsby engine division in Lincoln. This was many years ago and I don’t know if he can still help.
