I’m currently considering a small milling machine I’ve spotted on facebook. Seller says no model number and the makers name of Howdle. I can just spy on the side “[?]MOLE” “HO[?] LMS?” cast on the side of the body. It looks to take ISO taper tooling, has a nice collection of accessories, pleasingly sized, etc etc so I’m considering the long journey to atleast inspect it. But the internet reveals nothing at all about a Howdles miller. Does anyone recognise it? Figure Howdle might have been a merchant or reseller that has stuck their own badge on the casting. Google image search refuses to believe it isn’t a Jones & Shipman grinder.

Wonder what the chain block is used for ??? :O)

If you buy it get the seller to include it, there’s nothing light on that mill.
