Due to the current situation in the UK my university workshop has had to shut and I didn't manage to get a part finished on the lathe in time. If anyone would be able to help me change the length and diameter of the shaft of the part shown in the images attached I'd be massively grateful! Please see the attached images for dimensions (the new shaft does not need a thread).

I'd be happy to arrange a courier to pick up and deliver the part both ways.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm in Leicester but obviously not leaving the house at the moment. I'd organise a courier to pick up and drop off the part anywhere in the UK and for the return if someone could help.

Aluminium and the pre-machining shaft dimensions are roughly 30mm length and 8mm diameter. The base has a diameter of 25mm and height of 9mm however this does not need to be changed. Dimensions may be slightly inaccurate, all I have to measure is a ruler!

The shaft mounts onto the back of a motor to allow for an encoder to track it's position. The encoder disk will be mounted on the shaft.
